A real Bow Tie (as opposed to a clip-on Bow Tie) is a sophisticated wedding day accessory for people of all genders. But real Bow Ties can be hard to tie!

One my favorite grooms from 2023 chose a luxe silk Bow Tie, and while he eventually succeeded in tying his Bow Tie (and tying the knot with his beautiful bride!), the process was not entirely smooth sailing...but his Bow Tie frustrations definitely made for great candid photos:

Mother of the groom laughs as her son tries to tie his real bowtie on the morning of his NYC City Hall Wedding.
Father of the groom tries to tie his son's Bow Tie in the backyard of their Long Island home.
Father and son watch Youtube videos to figure out how to tie a real bowtie on the wedding day.
A frustrated groom frowns while tying his bow tie as father of the groom helps by playing a Youtube bow tie tutorial.
The successful groom gives thumbs up after learning to tie his real bow tie on the morning of his wedding.

2024 is gonna be the Year of the Bow Tie, thanks to the Times Square New Years Eve Ball Drop!

2024 New Years Eve Ball Drop is all about the Bow Tie!

The 2024 New Years Eve BALL is getting a Bow Tie themed makeover for 2024, in honor of the history of Times Square, once known as "The Bow Tie" of NYC due to its aerial shape.

But you didn't come here for a history lesson; you came to learn how to tie a real Bow Tie!

Here are some video tutorials to help you tie Bow Tie on your wedding day:

The tutorial starts at 2:12, but the first part is a cute discussion about how bowties are for everyone!
